About this demo-conference

[In English

“ My anthropomorphic robots reproduce human behaviours when their perception of their environment provokes confidence or insecurity, happiness or displeasure.” To close the loop, Jessica Field (Concordia University) presented her artistic research initiative whereby robots in artistic installations are used to represent a complete range of emotions. Software applications developed using Fuzzy Logic programming methods are used to control the robots' reactions. Interacting among themselves and with the spectators, the robots attempt to react with their environment in their own unique way based on what little information they can glean from reality.
