Mr. Delagrave opened the series of presentations by stating that we must change our attitudes with regards to new communications technologies and even question our traditional thought processes, and we must do so quickly. A significant part of this process must be done using current media vehicles which, following their computerisation, must now adapt to the massive shift towards the Internet currently affecting all aspects of our society.

Speaking on the topic of exponential marketing:
