Daniel Labonté explained how the use of telerobotics in health services can help people who are housebound or convalescing, reduce hospital stays and, ultimately, improve the patient’s quality of life.

“Our population is aging, with serious repercussions on health services. More and more patients are being sent home following surgery and in-home health systems and services, including telerobotic assistants, are seen as a part of the solution moving forward.”
