About this demo-conference

[In French]

“Our e-learning platform, the Intelligent Tutoring System, is able to understand the person using it, determine the emotional state they are in, and help them assume a state that promotes learning.” Claude Frasson (Virtuelage, DIRO and the Héron Lab at Université de Montréal) explained that more than 80% of the information stored in the human brain is found at the subconscious level. A person’s emotional state has a direct impact on their ability to access information stored in their brain. Heightened self-confidence, through the use intelligent agents, can result in increased access to the subconscious and quicker information assimilation for the learner.
