About this demo-conference

[In English]

“ In the video game industry, artificial intelligence is used to assign different characteristics and experiences to each entity called upon to play a role and, in essence, controls all that is alive in a game.” Chris « Wombat » Crowell (Ubisoft) provided an excellent overview of the evolution of video game sophistication through the integration of artificial intelligence. In just a few years, the industry went from simple table tennis to games that continue to run while players are away and welcome them back when they return to the console. The term AI (Artificial Intelligence) is now being replaced by Alife (Artificial life). Virtual enemies know how to defend themselves, spores develop into civilisations, and virtual cameramen know what you want to see at all times.
