“ The geographic direction sensors attached to the person controlling Audio Twist are very important to the overall performance of the application, as they may be used by the composer as well as the spectator in order to create the performance or “see” the sounds and their organisation.” Zack Zettel, Society for Arts and Technology, while explaining the features of the Audio Twist application, which, on the one hand, provides fine, brilliant and unheard-of control for composers of complex sound-immersion compositions (through the graphic 3D representation of the immersive sound environments and their components); while on the other, it provides the ability to “see” sounds using a representation that is not entirely abstract.
