[In French]
How, through acoustic simulation, is immersion realized when simulating flight ? An exact reconstitution of what happens in an airplane is necessary. Thus, a long process of several stages begins: recording the sounds in an airplane, the technical analyses of the sounds, modeling, integration, fine-tuning with the help of a pilot, and qualification and validation with authorities. At all times, the constraints of space, equipment quality and the source data do not permit the optimal documentation of the necessary information. Research on the material and the algorithms is pursued with the objective of addressing these problems and improving the speed with which adjustments are made.
