“The scanner brings real 3D to the virtual world”

Welcome to voxels (volumetric pixels). The handyscan, small and easy to use, allows you to go scan an object instead of having to bring an object to a scanner, which can be extremely useful. Without direct contact with objects, we can scan multiple surfaces and thus visualize “objects” which would otherwise remain hidden. Pastilles are scattered or placed on the desired surface. The scanner recognizes them thanks to its eyes. LED lights, positioned on the apparatus, project lights onto the pastilles which are then positioned in space via triangulation. This techniques can be used for virtual visits, facial scans, the reproduction of rare works or even the making of dolls (Maquettes).
