For over a year, the PropulseART research team has been developing software and tools for telepresence which several live artists have been able to experiment with. We will discuss the potential outcomes such tools have for live presentation and performances as well as the possible impact they will have on the way artists, technical crews and venue managers work.
Sylvain Rocheleau is Project Coordinator for the PropulseART Research Group at the SAT. He has directed several audiovisual broadcasting projects for Bell, Cirque du Soleil, the CSDM and RAID Multimedia.
