Autodesk file format used to develop 2D and 3D design solutions for architects, engineers, designers, game developers and others. All of these professionals need to make revisions to their designs and share this information with others who do not necessarily have access to advanced 2D and 3D editing software. An architect, for example, may need to show a 3D draft to a client, without requiring that the client have access to a version of AutoCAD in order to open the 3D file.
Our proposed solution is to generate documents and models in a unique and portable (i.e. 'light') file format that may be reviewed interactively and free-of-charge using a small viewing utility. Autodesk invented 2D and 3D PDF: DWF (drawing web format).
