This is the attitude we should have as we face the profound changes affecting the business models and the way we communicate. The consumer is now in control. He wants to decide what, when and where he will buy his products or his media. Moreover, he is from far the most important content manager and he even skips the middleman (or intermediaries) in the transactions. In the past, we would be informed about new technologies that would take years before they’d become available. Nowadays, we use them even before they are officially released. Extremely stimulating or feeling dizzy, everything is changing, everything is upside down. It’s time to “Reset” and embrace this new economy with a positive attitude towards change.

Pierre Delagrave joined Cossette Communication Marketing in 1975. He is one of the founding partners. He created Cossette Media, a business unit specialized in media with over 100 employees. Pierre is the President-founder of Cossette Interactive, a business unit of Cossette which operate in four Canadian cities (Quebec City, Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver) and in New York. On behalf of Cossette Communication Group Pierre handled the acquisition of Proximi-T, a company specialized in information technologies. After the acquisition he merged Proximi-T with Cossette Interactive, now known as Fjord Marketing Interactif + Technologie. Pierre has written many books with internal circulation only. He recently released a book called “Erase everything and Start Over!” about the impact of new technologies on communications.
