Ericsson's IMS-based services enable communication through various media, such as voice, text, pictures and video, or a combination of them, adapted to each individual’s preference IMS enables a consistent experience across multiple access technologies, user devices and geographic locations for business or private use. It also allows users to better indicate their accessibility – or their 'presence' – so they can control how, where, when and by whom they can be reached.
EricssonIMS Solution is a complete end-to-end offering for fixed and mobile operators, ranging from user devices to service creation and delivery. The solution provides standardized services such as IMS Push to Talk, IMS weShare (simultaneous speech and media sharing) and IMS Multimedia Telephony (including IP Telephony and IP Centrex), as well as supporting operator-specific innovations and existing investments.
Mike Sisto has been with Ericsson Canada inc. for 16 years, joining the Ericsson team in 1990. Initially, he was responsible for the Finance, Information Technology, Building Services and Test Plant Operations. At present, Mike is the Vice President of Sales for Eastern Canada. He is responsible for account management and the sales of network equipment and services for customers in Quebec and the Atlantic provinces. Currently, Mike resides on many boards that are recognized within the telecommunications industry including the Inno-Centre selection committee, IIT & IIT-R (International Institute of Telecom) Boards, and the Ericsson Innovation Board.
