Michel Côté has been involved in the in the telecommunications industry for the last 30 years. A graduate in electrical engineering from Université Laval, he has had at Bell Canada, from 1976 to 1996, extensive experience in network planning, provisioning and management process. Then he joined the European branch of Nortel as Operations Manager and et Director, Development and Sales Support for continental Europe and North Africa. Back in Canada, he held a Vice-President position at CDP Capital Communications assessing their investments in the telecommunications industry . In 2002, he became an engineering consultant for prominent clients suche as Caisse de Dépôts et de Placements du Québec, Investissement Desjardins or the Grand Council of the Crees. Michel Côté has also a university degree from the EMBA program of Centre international de recherches et d’études en management (CIREM, HEC Montréal). In October 2006, he joined RISQ, completing and straightening the management team.
