This presentation will highlight recent industrial collaborations in the assessment of ice hockey equipment including skates, sticks and helmets.
David Pearsall, PhD, Associate Professor, Department of Kinesiology & Physical Education, McGill University. Research activities have focussed on the function of protective equipment, in particular ice hockey helmets, as well as assessment of biomechanical principles related to skating and shooting techniques.
